  • Brad is responsible for providing direction and guidance to the organization on budgeting, performance analytics, forecasting and spending controls. Additionally, he oversees financial systems and tools, assets and capital planning, lease management, and partners with division leaders in decision support and business planning. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Spring Arbor University and has seven years of experience in corporate finance, primarily in financial planning and analysis functions. Brad also holds his Certified Management Accountant certification through the Institute of Management Accountants.

Chief Human Resources Officer

  • Karen leads the Human Resources Division, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, and the Greenleaf Trust Scholarship & Internship and Wealth Developers programs at Greenleaf Trust. She is committed to cultivating a culture of inclusivity through awareness, education and conversation. Karen collaborates with leaders to implement strategies driving company growth and ensuring best practices in team recruitment, engagement, development and retention. Karen has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry as well as more than 25 years of human resources experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, her Certified Staffing Professional designation through the American Staffing Association, her Senior Certified Professional designation through the Society for Human Resource Management, and her Certified Diversity Professional designation through the National Diversity Council. Karen is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Kalamazoo Human Resources Management Association.

T’Ausia earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources management at Western Michigan University and her Certified Human Resources Specialist designation through Michigan State University.

  • Carlos is responsible for assisting with leading the administration and day-to-day responsibilities of special programs, to include the Greenleaf Trust Scholarship & Internship program and Wealth Development Club. Carlos provides technical and administrative support, as well as develops and administers all program policies and procedures through program integration. Carlos has nearly 10 years of experience in secondary education administration and an Associate of Arts degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

  • Kim oversees the administration of employee health and welfare plans, providing technical and administrative human resources guidance as well as assisting with planning, organization, development and administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs. Kim also co-coordinates the Greenleaf Trust Scholarship/Internship program. She ensures clear, concise communication by coordinating the team’s workflow and acts as an ongoing resource for team members.  She attended Northern Arizona University and has over 27 years of experience serving team members in a supportive work culture environment.

  • Alexia is responsible for the coordination, design, implementation and oversight of the Wealth Development Club, a comprehensive financial literacy program tailored to high school students of color. She is current student at Western Michigan University majoring in personal financial planning and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an active member of the Financial Planners Association (FPA) and is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. She received her Associate of Arts and Science from Muskegon Community College.

  • Christine is responsible for the corporate accounting, taxation, and financial reporting functions. She ensures compliance with regulatory and governing requirements and partners with third party accounting firms to administer financial audits. In addition, Chris plays a significant role in developing organizational processes and systems. She leverages her 17 years of experience by providing thoughtful guidance to the CEO and CFO on company performance and trajectory. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

  • Gabbi is a trusted partner to the talent acquisition specialists and the chief human resources officer. She supports current staffing needs and goals for the future. She assists in coordinating the full cycle recruiting process and ensures successful onboarding for all new employees. Alongside her DEI partners, Gabbi reviews options for diversified recruiting opportunities. Gabbi is a graduate of Western Michigan University with degrees in both business administration and Spanish.
