Greenleaf Trust announces new promotions

Kalamazoo, MI, December 2012 — Greenleaf Trust is pleased to announce the following promotions.

Rosalice C. Hall has been promoted to Team Service Coordinator II. Rosie works alongside the Director and
Assistant Director of the Retirement Plan Division offering comprehensive support and administrative assistance
within the division. Rosie has over 10 years experience in administration within the health field. She earned
a bachelor’s degree in human resources and business administration with a minor in economics from Western
Michigan University.

Brenda E. Hildon-Kaempf has been promoted to Senior Team Service Coordinator. Brenda is responsible for
providing comprehensive support and administrative assistance within the personal trust area and has over
17 years experience in the financial industry. Brenda earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from
Western Michigan University.

Oliver E. Krings has been promoted to Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Assistant Director of
Business Information Services Division. Oliver is responsible for leading the technical team within the Business
Information Services Division, which is responsible for systems architecture, project management and technical
support. Oliver has over 20 years of IT industry experience along with several technical industry certifications.

Kristen Rollins has been promoted to Senior IT Service Specialist. Kristen is part of the Business Information
Services Division and is responsible for managing IT service requests. Kristen has four years of industry
experience, along with several IT technical certifications. Kristen is a graduate of Western Michigan University
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Kimberly E. Van Duine has been promoted to Project Manager. Kim is responsible for the management of project
planning and execution. She works closely with Greenleaf Trusts teams to help them gain efficiencies with the use
of technology and by assisting with the improvement processes and procedures. Kim has over 5 years of project
management experience and has worked with technology focused teams for over 15 years.

Sarah M. Way has been promoted to Senior Team Service Coordinator. In addition to providing comprehensive
support and administrative assistance within the personal trust team, Sarah is a member of Greenleaf Trust’s estate
settlement team. She has more than 15 years experience in financial services, account management and customer
service. Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Michigan University.
