Greenleaf Trust Named Among Fortune's Best Workplaces for 2021

Greenleaf Trust, an independent, trust-only bank and wealth management firm, was recognized by Fortune as one of its industry’s best small and medium workplaces in the nation as part of the 2021 Great Place to Work rankings, underscoring its commitment to going beyond expectations in all that it does.

Fortune and research partner Great Places to Work® recognized Greenleaf Trust’s dedication to employee well-being during the last turbulent and challenging year, ranking it 33^rd among the 40 Best Small and Medium Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance for 2021.  The ranking sought to identify employers that “rise above their peers by instilling trust—and allow members of their organizations to reach their full human potential” and “acted as generous corporate citizens amid a year of multiple crises, deepening employees’ sense of purpose and commitment” in the survey of  more than 840,000 employees at U.S. companies in the process.

In the most recent ranking, 94% of its employees said Greenleaf Trust is a great place to work, compared to 59% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company, according to the survey. In addition, 99% percent of Greenleaf Trust employees said they felt welcomed when joining the company.

Among the ways Greenleaf Trust supported its team in 2020 was the establishment of the Greenleaf Cares Program.  From the establishment of a COVID-19 Relief Fund to help employees cover increased expenses for childcare, education and technology needs as they transitioned to remote work, to adjusting schedules to ensure internal meetings began after schools’ virtual learning had started, the wealth management firm sought to make it easier for employees to work and parent amid the pandemic.
