Mercedes Sims recently completed the coursework and examination to receive the Certified Associate in Project Management designation. The program includes project management theory, foundational process knowledge, frameworks and best practices in the field of project management. Mercedes successfully completed over 23 hours of challenging coursework designed by the Project Management Institute and earned an exceptional score on the rigorous three-hour exam.

Mercedes is responsible for the oversight of projects and identifying areas for process improvement. She works with all divisions to help lead successful and timely implementations. Mercedes has a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Western Michigan University.
