Greenleaf Trust announces post-secondary degree and two designations
Greenleaf Trust is pleased to share the continued development of teammates with a recent master’s degree and two professional designations.
Quinn McCormick, Compliance Specialist II, received her Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. The program is designed for working professionals to learn valuable and relevant skills in the field of business through experiential learning.
As a Compliance Specialist II, Quinn is responsible for assisting with Greenleaf Trust’s compliance and risk management processes through policy and procedure development, regulatory research and implementation and process improvement initiatives. She has been in financial services with Greenleaf Trust for over eight years, and her organizational experience along with her problem-solving skill set are essential in supporting Greenleaf Trust’s culture of compliance. Quinn is a graduate of Kalamazoo College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and is also a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) through the Project Management Institute.
Managing Director of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Jennifer West, recently earned her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation. The program is designed to prepare finance professionals for the special financial issues that can occur divorce. Successful candidates must have experience in financial planning, complete online coursework and pass the exam.
At Greenleaf Trust, Jennifer’s primary responsibility is leading the expansion of Greenleaf Trust throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region and overseeing the Midland office. She has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry and earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Central Michigan University.
In the Retirement Plan Division, Senior Recordkeeping Specialist, Melissa Coffin, earned her Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation (QKA®). The QKA® program focuses on developing the technical skills needed to work with 401(k) plans. A successful candidate must have at least three years of experience in the retirement field, pass the retirement plan fundamentals course and sit for both the QKA-1 and QKA-2 exams.
Melissa is responsible for assisting with Greenleaf Trust’s in-house participant recordkeeping system. She has over 20 years of experience in both trust operations and in retirement plan arena. Melissa attended both Delta College in Saginaw, Michigan and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
