Greenleaf Trust announces new hires and role changes
Greenleaf Trust continues to grow and thrive in uncertain times:
The importance of company culture is put to the test during uncertain times, most certainly throughout the last 16-months during the COVID-19 pandemic. Team members hired during this period represent 17% of our team. Our constant focus on clients and collegial team environment has allowed Greenleaf Trust the opportunity to grow and celebrate many milestones and achievements. Please join us in celebrating the following additions and role changes:
Lyndsay Deery recently joined our Business Information Services Division, from our client centric team, as a business resiliency specialist. She is responsible for the coordination, oversight, and testing of the business continuity and disaster recovery programs within the business information services division. Lyndsay has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Grand Valley State University.
Marisol Quiroz moved from our Operations Division to our Corporate Administration Division as a financial accounting analyst. She is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities and related analysis. She also manages accounts payable and vendor related processes, supports various financial reporting needs, and serves as the company payroll lead. Marisol earned her Bachelor’s Degree in both Accountancy and Finance, as well as her Master of Science in Accountancy at Western Michigan University.
Demetra LaFayette joined the Operations Division as a tax specialist. She is responsible for the tax processing of returns and convenience payments, as well as assisting the client centric team. She also processes charitable gifts and corporate action changes, and assists with settling equity, fixed income and mutual fund trades for our clients. Demetra earned a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University.
Maria Tomlinson and Erin Young join Greenleaf Trust as trust operations specialists. Maria is responsible for account opening, processing and assisting the client centric team with the administration of their accounts. She has five years of experience in Finance and Accounts Payable. Maria has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus in Journalism from Walsh University. Erin is responsible for settling equity, fixed income, and mutual fund trades for our clients. Erin graduated from Siena Heights University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Katlynn Brown joins Greenleaf Trust as an IT service specialist. She provides support in the hardware refresh lifecycle by provisioning new computers. Katlynn also provides Helpdesk Support and troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues, and trains end-users on hardware functionality and software programs. Katlynn has five years of Internal Support experience.
Luke Paxson also joins the team as an IT service specialist. He is responsible for providing technical support to the Greenleaf Trust team. He has experience supporting a wide variety of systems and devices. Luke earned his Bachelors of Science in Network Administration and Security from Davenport University, as well as other industry certifications covering general PC support and Microsoft cloud computing platforms.
