Greenleaf Trust announces new hires
Kalamazoo, MI, August 2012 — Greenleaf Trust recently announced the hire of three new team
members.
Bethany L. Cwalina
Participant Services Coordinator
Bethany provides education and communication services to participants of various retirement plans. She also
conducts retirement plan enrollment meetings, meets with plan participants, develops educational and informational
materials, and supports the participant call center. Bethany has a background in sales planning, training, and
customer service. A graduate from Western Michigan University, Bethany earned her degree in Public Relations.
Julie A. Hintz
Team Service Coordinator
Julie is responsible for providing comprehensive support and administrative assistance within the personal trust
area. Julie has over seven years of experience in teaching and client service. She has earned her bachelor’s degree
from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree from Walden University.
Steven P. Phillips
Participant Services Specialist
Steven provides education and communication services to participants of our retirement plans. He supports the
participant call center, helps prepare quarterly newsletters and statements, and processes participant requests
while assisting with communication tasks. Steven earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University
in Finance.
