Greenleaf Trust announces new hires

Greenleaf Trust is proud to announce the addition of four new team members:

Steve McKiddy joins Greenleaf Trust as chief financial officer. Steve provides financial guidance and broad counsel to the Executive Leadership Team at Greenleaf Trust.  He leads the finance and accounting organization and directs the company’s fiscal functions in accordance with regulatory and governing requirements.  Steve also collaborates with the Board of Directors, President, and members of the Executive Council on capital allocation, long range planning, and risk management.  He has over 20 years of leadership experience, primarily with complex multi-national firms, and has served extensively as a financial executive in both customer and operationally oriented roles.  Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Miami University.

Beth Simon joins Greenleaf Trust as marketing specialist. Beth is responsible for supporting the marketing team with a focus on planning and executing marketing events, community involvement, and other charitable functions.  Beth has a degree from the University of Notre Dame in Finance and Business Economics.

Tion Hall joins Greenleaf Trust as trust operations specialist. Tion is responsible for cash processing as well as assisting and supporting the entire operations team.  Tion graduated from Western Michigan University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Garrett Urman joins Greenleaf Trust in northern Michigan as a wealth management associate. Garrett is responsible for supporting the wealth management team in the development of comprehensive wealth management plans, the executing of goal-based planning, and the management of investment portfolios. He has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Lake Superior State University. He is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM certification.
