Greenleaf Trust announces certification and new hire in the Finance Division

Greenleaf Trust is pleased to share Financial Accounting Analyst Marisol Quiroz’s successful completion of her Certified Public Accountant designation. To earn the CPA designation, Marisol completed her Masters in Accountancy at Western Michigan University, passed all four sections of the CPA exam and had to demonstrate her abilities over at least 2,000 hours of application.

Marisol is responsible for corporate accounting activities, analysis of financial results and budget processes. She also supports various financial reporting needs, oversees expense management systems and champions continuous improvement efforts.  Marisol earned her bachelor’s degree in both accountancy and finance, as well as her Master of Science in accountancy from Western Michigan University; she is also a Certified Public Accountant.

In addition to the certification, the Finance Division is also pleased to share the addition of Brad Baker, CMA® to the team. As financial planning and analysis lead, Brad is responsible for providing direction and guidance to the organization on budgeting, performance analytics, forecasting and spending controls. Additionally, he oversees financial systems and tools, assets and capital planning, lease management, and partners with division leaders in decision support and business planning.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Spring Arbor University and has seven years of experience in corporate finance, primarily in financial planning and analysis functions.  Brad also holds his Certified Management Accountant certification through the Institute of Management Accountants.
