Greenleaf Trust announces the addition of three team members

Jake Moertl joins the operations team as a Tax Specialist. He plays a key role in developing the tax coordinators, overseeing tax processing, reviewing tax returns and supporting the client-centric team with their clients’ tax related questions. Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has over two years of experience in the accounting and tax industry.

Darius Edmond also joins the operations team as a Tax Coordinator. He is responsible for managing tax logistics, including communicating with external CPAs and facilitating the preparation and filing of various client tax returns and reports. He helps ensure timely and accurate compliance by coordinating information between internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies. Darius will graduate with a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from Grand Valley State University in December and plans to pursue his EA certification this summer.

Kristin Felker joins the client centric team as a Team Service Coordinator. She is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, day-to-day servicing of account needs, and driving the efforts of the client centric team. Kristin ensures clear, concise communication by coordinating the team’s workflow and acts as an ongoing resource for clients. She earned her bachelor’s of science in language arts from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration from Northwood University.
